ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – BKFC is set to return to Tingley Coliseum this week and once again, the card will feature local fighters. Among the Albuquerque natives set to fight is John “The Magician” Dodson who will make his first flyweight title defense.
Dodson (3-0 BKFC) has been very successful in his bare knuckle fighting career. Known for his quick knockout ability, Dodson is ready to make his next opponent his next victim.
“Get someone worthy of my strength and devastating speed,” Dodson said. “As such, not everyone survives the first round and I want to see if anyone can really match my speed, my charisma and yes this pretty face.”
Dodgson will headline BKFC 59 on Friday night against Dagoberto Aguero (1-0 BKFC). The preliminary bouts begin at 6 p.m., and the eight-fight main card is set for 7 p.m.
