Krispy Kreme donuts are coming to McDonald’s

Chicago (WXIN) — McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme have announced a partnership that will have many of you saying, “I love it.”

Later this year, fans will begin seeing Krispy Kreme donuts in select McDonald’s restaurants across the country as part of a new rollout that will eventually lead to Krispy Kreme donuts being available at McDonald’s nationwide by the end of 2026.

The companies said three different varieties of Krispy Kreme donuts are planned to be delivered fresh daily to McDonald’s restaurants. Donuts are available at McDonald’s individually or in boxes of six.

The three varieties that will be offered are:

  • original glaze
  • Chocolate iced with sprinkles
  • Chocolate Iced “Crème” Filled

“Our fans’ love for Krispy Kreme runs deep, and we can’t wait to make it even easier for them to satisfy their sweet tooth at McDonald’s restaurants across the country,” said Tariq Hasan, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, McDonald’s USA.

The partnership between Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s was successfully tested at McDonald’s locations in Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky. These pilot locations continue to serve Krispy Kreme donuts.

On Tuesday, Krispy Kreme stock jumped 20.5% after it announced its deal with McDonald’s restaurants.
