Albuquerque man arraigned after fight with BCSO deputy

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Andrew Marler, caught on camera fighting a Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputy, was sentenced Tuesday to three years in prison.

Marler was resisting arrest when a sheriff’s deputy tried to handcuff him. During the fight, both of them fell into a 15 feet pit. A few days later the 1st stole from a close friend. and Indian School, threw stones at the victim and chased him. Marler took a plea deal in February, as part of the plea deal, the burglary and stonewalling charges against him were dropped.

Judge Bruce Fox sentenced Marler to three years in prison, followed by two and a half years.
