ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Firefighters put out another exterior fire that damaged a northeast Albuquerque church. Albuquerque Fire Rescue said the fire started just before 9 a.m. in a small yard that spread to a building at the Church of the Nazarene in Los Altos near Central and Eubank.

Crews had it under control within ten minutes and no one was injured. The fire is still under investigation.

The AFR said it had seen an increase in outdoor fires earlier this year compared to last year, including one that destroyed a wash tub laundromat.
