ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Now that spring is here, the ABQ Biopark is seeing an influx of visitors. Last October, the zoo opened its new Asia exhibit, and with the latest news of Rosie the elephant’s pregnancy, there’s a lot to look forward to.

“One thing we see this time of year is a lot of people coming from out of state because they’re on spring break, and they’re choosing Albuquerque as a place to visit, which I think is an honor. So this time of year, about 20% of our Guests are coming here from out of state,” said Allison Zahm, zoo guest experience manager at the ABQ Biopark.

If you plan to visit the zoo for spring break during the school holidays, it is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To learn more about the ABQ Biopark, Click here.
